RECREATIONAL TUMBLING

Recreational Tumbling class registrants will receive expert instruction from one our Tumbling Coaches! Students will utilize the Rod Floor, Spring Floor, Tumble Trak and Trampoline to gain strength and confidence whether they are perfecting old skills or challenging themselves to learn new ones! Students should bring their own water bottle, wear athletic attire and arrive with their hair up. Leotards and foot coverings are not necessary in our gym. Each student will receive a progress report from their coach at the end of the session so families know if it is time for their child to progress to the next level. Please contact us if you are unsure of where to register your child and we are happy to assist you. Ratio of 5/1.

Greenville Middle School Cheer Tumbling

Coach Gayla will schedule monthly tumbling practices with GGC Coordinator on Wednesdays from 7:00-8:30. This unique class is especially designed for the Greenville Middle Cheer Team and is coached by our NCAA student athlete coaches. Families must register for the entire month via our secure website. Each 90 minute practice costs $13.00.

TumblePaws 1

TumblePaws 1 is a beginner class for those students who have little to no experience with tumbling skills. Students will receive tumbling and trampoline instruction on our Olympic Floor, Rod Floor, and Tumble Trak events. Participants will be introduced to basic tumbling terminology, tumbling event safety, strength-building body conditioning/positions required for tumbling skills, as well as progressions in directional Rolling, Handstands, Cartwheels, Bridges, Back Bends, Round-Offs, and 2- foot set jumps forward and backward.

TumblePaws 2

TumblePaws 2 is an intermediate-level tumbling class for students who have completed our TumblePaws1 class. To register for TumblePaws 2, tumblers should be able to perform the following skills without assistance: Backward Roll landing to plank/feet, Various Forward Rolls to Stand, Bridge, Lunge to Toe Kiss, Lunge to Cartwheel, Basic Jumps beginning with arms up and landing on feet: Tuck, Straddle, Seat drop-Stand Up and Set jumps forwards with straight arms.
